144: Boston Cream Doughnuts

The Boston Cream Pie has been stalking me. For the past few days, it’s been popping all over my dashboard and I find myself salivating every time. I am not superstitious, but damn it, I think this is a sign. I need to make this. Determined, I got off my lazy butt to complete my mission. But somewhere between my bedroom and the kitchen, I got lazy and decided to make Boston Cream Doughnuts instead. (Don’t follow my example, kids.)
I remember this being my favorite doughnut in Dunkin Doughnuts. I always felt it was more worth it than the other doughnuts because 1.) it didn’t have a hole in the middle and 2.) there’s filling inside. 3.) more frosting on top because of the no hole thing. Don’t look at me like that! I was only allowed Dunkin Doughnuts occasionally and I had to strategize.
